Lovely car spoiled by the ride quality

Good Points

Excellent build quality. Everything looks and feels very well made and of high quality.
Noise isolation inside the cabin is very good. Very little road or wind noise.

Bad Points

Suspension is too firm for me. The damping is too harsh and doesn’t improve with speed. Around town where you would expect a good quality ride from a premium suv it’s very “crashy”. Even my wife who doesn’t drive commented on the poor ride comfort.
CVT gearbox. I’ve had cars with them before including a Lexus RX400h. However, on anything other than a level road, slight incline, or very gentle acceleration, the constant high revving of the engine is very irritating.

Niggly Points.

No digital speedometer reading.
No lumbar support adjustment.
Hard to use infotainment, even reading the manual.

Obviously these are my opinions. There are plenty of people who love theirs and woe betide anybody who dares to criticise them on the forums. Very defensive and protective.
