Perfection

I absolutely love this car. I've owned it for a year and wanted to give it a year until I reviewed it. I moved from a Lexus CT200h and haven't been disappointed. Every journey feels like it's an occasion and I always look forward to driving it. Parkers say it's not exciting to drive; it's not a sports car, although it will shift and handles twisty roads well, but I firmly believe that its relaxed and composed nature has made me a better driver. Extremely well made, comfortable, luxurious, quiet on the road, decent boot, excellent brakes, it feels like the complete package.

The CVT gearbox doesn't detract from the driving experience like some would have you believe, nor does the multimedia. Drive steadily, which is the key to maximising mpg, and you barely notice any intrusion from the gearbox. Like any car, you'll have to get used to the multimedia but, once you do, it's straightforward to use. The pre-facelift models (2017 and prev) can be upgraded to Android audio and Apple iplay with a kit from AliExpress.com.

The Premium package on my 2017 F Sport is quite a rare specification and comes with F Sport styling plus memory seats (useful for drivers of different heights), heated steering wheel, Head Up Display, blind spot auto dim mirrors and best of all, the Mark Levinson audio system.

All NX's over 5 years old will have very reasonable car tax costs, around £155 for 121g/km. Service your car at a Lexus Dealer every year and you will benefit from Lexus' 10 year/100,000 manufacturers' warranty for ultimate peace of mind.

HJ says the F Sport comes with a strange exhaust note symposer - you can turn it off if you don't like it!

For any CT200h owners considering a move, I think you'll be very happy with the move. More space, more luxury, what's not to love?!
