The worst car I have ever owned!!

I bought my Sportage KX3 in December 2012 from now defunct dealer Verve from their Bathgate Site. I will concede it was a beautiful looking car in techno orange with optional side steps and front/rear skid plates. I bought it on a bit of a whim and found out very quickly I did not like the car at all. First of all I had to take it back to the dealer as the cars handbrake would not hold plus I had problems trying to close the drivers door, it would only close proper with the window open, both these points raise a few questions about the standard of the PDI inspection. It was not particularly comfortable and the plastic trim was to the standard you would find in a Lada Riva. It's 2 litre CRDi engine was not particularly refined, was sluggish and in my opinion thirsty never really giving more than 38 MPG. I had some issues I had to get in contact with KIA UK about and they showed no interest whatsoever. My car cost a whopping £25k and never had sat nav, a DAB Radio and never even had one touch electric windows. Its USB connection was totally useless as was its bluetooth system. Some of its features like the operation of the trip computer being buttons on the dashboard as opposed to on the steering wheel or on stalks was really quite pathetic and all the fancy 'chrome' was cheap plastic in fact even the 'leather trim' was faux leather. The fancy polished alloy wheels were corroding something terrible and when the panoramic sunroof was open you could not hear yourself think. On a windy day it bounced so much it was like a space hopper. I have since gotten shot of this automotive mistake after only 13 months and I lost a fortune on it. I would suggest if you are looking for a crossover type vehicle go for a Ford Kuga or a Nissan Qashqai and not a Sportage. I do think it would have been very reliable, I had no issues there however the most I could have said about it was it was at best OK. For £25k I expect better than OK. I traded in a Ford Mondeo 2.0 Tdci Titanium on an 08 plate for the Sportage, I replaced it with a new Ford Mondeo 2.0 Tdci Titanium X. A far superior car in everyway although if KIA invested a bit more in the way of finish and higher quality materials the car could be a winner rather than at best an OK car.
