You need a Mercedes S500 coupe to better this

If you have read my review of my E46 Coupe you will know that I love BMW's and this E92 330d m-sport is no exception with one important rider. It is imperative you avoid the early type 313M 19 inch alloys (2010-11) that crack pretty much continuously and cost around £80+ per repair. Even removing the crazy run flat tyres and putting Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres all round hasn't helped fix this issue. BMW is in denial over this obvious manufacturing glitch. A friend who has a 2013 model with the same wheels has had no issues with the same wheels, so I am sure BMW changed the composition of these wheels at some point to avoid further problems.
Apart from this irritation the 330 diesel is a truly magnificent driver's car. I can get 600 miles from the 13.2 gallon tank if I drive sensibly or I can cruise in comfort at 150mph (I have on the German autobahn). This really is a Grand Turismo car that can take you huge distances with ease. It is not as sporty as a E46 or E36 but the level of refinement is in a different league. I love the directness of changing gear with the 6 speed manual box. The gear change is solid and heavy, like a real car should be. This is the last BMW 3 litre straight six diesel that you can buy with a proper manual gearbox. The model that replaced it (the 4 series 430d) is available only with an automatic gearbox so do yourself a favour and get an E92 6 cylinder petrol or diesel with a manual box while you still can. You will have to spend well over £50,000 to get a better car!
