Great family car

Bought this at 3yrs old from and Audi main dealer, and has been excellent so far. Cabin is a really nice place to be, with plenty of nice materials and is quiet across all speeds.

Virtual Cockpit is a nice touch, although definitely not a necessity. Audi Sat Nav system however is useless, and would recommend using Apple CarPlay over it any day of the week.

Engine is punchy enough, returns decent economy (40MPG roughly) and can handle towing a small boat with plenty of gusto.

Servicing has been easy and carefree because we got an Audi servicing package when we bought the car and would definitely recommend. The only problem we have had is a noisy brake pedal which was rectified quickly by the dealer.

Gripes are pretty small. The DSG (although hyped up in the press) cannot match a torque converter, particularly to the one in our previous X5. It can be slow to respond when trying to make a quick getaway from a roundabout, and kickdown can sometimes be a bit laggy.

Our car also has the 21’ wheels, which in retrospect we would’ve avoided because it does understandably create a hard edge to the otherwise comfortable ride.
