Avoid the 2.5 TDI best go for the petrol 1.8 or 2.0l TDI (140)
Had an estate one of these for a couple of years. Engine used to really annoy me as it was very rattley at idle (nice and smooth once on the go). The car also feels really front heavy with this engine. Reliable for most of the duration until the injector pump went (2000 quid) followed by the cam belt tensioner (maybe this wasn’t replaced by the previous owner during the cambelt change – so I can’t blame the car for this)
