Electric Mazda MX-30 priced from £26,995

Published 04 March 2020

The Mazda MX-30 is now available to order with prices for the 124-mile electric car starting from £26,995.

The electric SUV's list price includes the Government's £3500 plug-in car grant, which is automatically deducted at the point of registration. Before the grant, the MX-30 lists at £30,495.

Limited to 500 models in the UK, the MX-30 First Edition is a high-spec model intended to appeal to early adopters, with highlights including navigation (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), radar cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a windscreen projecting head-up display.

Customers ordering a Mazda MX-30 First Edition will also qualify for a free wall box home charger.

UK pricing for the rest of the MX-30 range will be announced later in the year, although value-conscious electric car buyers should look at the MG ZS EV with its £22,495 price tag and 163-mile range.

The Volkswagen ID.3 is also due to hit the market this year, with a range of up to 342 miles and prices expected to start from around £27,000.

Mazda MX-30 deliveries will start from early 2021 with customers now able to reserve a car with an £800 deposit.

with a estimated range of 125 miles and a real world range of just over 100 miles. it won't be long before technology improves and nobody will want these secondhand, unless very very cheap. Waste of £26,000
