Toyota C-HR Hybrid - on sale January 2017
The styling may not be everyone's cup of green tea, but there's no denying that the C-HR is unusual and quite quirky for a Toyota, with all its sharp bits and odd angles.
And when it comes to hybrid power, Toyota leads the way. So much so that three quarters of all C-HR models sold are expected to be hybrids. The C-HR uses the same system as the latest Prius - a 1.8-litre petrol engine combined with an electric motor and a CVT gearbox. Claimed economy is 74.3mpg although don't expect that in everyday driving...

Thanks for the info. on hybrids. I will be looking for a raised height , preferably 4 WD , auto, similar to my Honda CRV , or a little smaller. Am I asking for the impossible ?Austin
