Alfa Romeo Giulietta now more economical

Published 17 July 2015

Alfa Romeo has updated the Giulietta with more economical engines across the range. Prices remain unchanged with the 1.4 TB 120PS Progression starting at £18,450.

The most popular engine in the Giulietta range, the 1.6 JTDM-2 diesel sees emissions reduced by 5g/km to 99g/km, meaning no annual VED. Official economy is up to 74.3mpg from 70.6mpg yet despite being cleaner, it actually has more power with an increase to 120PS

All engines in the Giulietta range are Euro 6 compliant, with the exception of the 2.0 JTDM-2 with 150PS. Both the 150PS and 170PS versions of the 1.4 MultiAir Turbo drop into a lower emissions bad.

There is also a new Business Edition range which comes with a  6.5-inch touchscreen Uconnect infotainment system, navigation, DAB radio, front and rear parking sensors, automatic lights and wipers, alloy wheels and metallic paint as standard. Prices start at £19,080.
