£18,195 start price for new Ford C-MAX, S-MAX from £24,545

Ford has announced pricing for its new generation of MPVs. The facelifted Ford C-MAX will cost from £18,195, while the seven-seat Grand C-MAX costs from £20,295. The larger, all-new S-MAX is priced from £24,545. Both the C-MAX and S-MAX are due in showrooms in summer 2015.

The C-MAX is offered in three trim levels – Zetec, Titanium and Titanium X. Entry-level C-MAX models get the latest SYNC 2 infotainment system, along with Active City Stop emergency braking and an automated perpendicular parking system. Grand C-MAX models get twin sliding doors.

C-MAX Zetec models cost from £18,195, while Titanium models cost from £20,195 and Titanium X models are offered from £22,695.

Like the C-MAX, the S-MAX gets SYNC 2 as standard, along with front and rear parking sensors, keyless start and DAB radio and sports seats. Higher trim levels get safety gadgets like traffic sign recognition and, in the case of Titanium Sport trim, a body styling kit with spoiler.

The S-MAX costs from £24,545 in Zetec trim, rising to £26,245 in Titanium trim and £31,300 in top Titanium Sport trim.
