Audi adds A6 and A7 Black Editions

Audi has introduced Black Edition variants of the A6, A6 Avant and A7. Each benefits from a ‘Black’ styling kit, BOSE audio system, privacy glass and unique ‘rotor’ alloy wheels. Order books are open now, with deliveries due in early 2013. Prices start at £35,010 for the A6 saloon, £36,970 for the A6 Avant and £50,575 for the A7.

Externally the Black Edition models get large, dark grey alloy wheels – 20-inch for the A6 saloon and Avant and 21-inch for the A7. All models have lowered suspension and have black number plate surrounds and window frame strips, along with privacy glass and in the case of the A6 Avant, black roof rails.

The cabin also features various black details including Piano Black inlays and black leather. All models come with DAB radio, Audi Music Interface and an enhanced audio system by BOSE as standard, along with sat nav, light and rain sensors, xenon lights, adaptive dynamics and keyless entry and start. Additionally, A7 customers get a power tailgate, electrically adjustable front seats and a retractable rear spoiler.

Buyers of A6 Black Editions in both saloon and Avant form can choose from front and all-wheel drive and from all engines except the S6. The A7 Black Edition is offered with the full range of engines excepting the S7 and the front-wheel drive 3.0 TDI 204PS.
