Audi brings back the RS3

When Audi introduced the RS3 Sportback to the UK market all 500 were promptly sold, but with a new A3 just around the corner, Audi is celebrating the outgoing model by reintroducing the RS3, albeit in a limited run of 250 examples, priced at £39,930.

The RS3 features quattro four-wheel drive, which is necessary when you consider the five-cylinder turbocharged 2.5-litre engine produces 340PS and peak torque of 450Nm. Those figures make for swift performance, with 0-62mph taken care of in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 155mph. Fuel economy is 31mpg and emissions are 212g/km.

The performance is complimented by distinctive styling, with a deeper front apron, large air intakes, dark grey grille surround, wider wheel arches, 19-inch alloy wheels, sill extensions and a gloss black rear diffuser.

In the cabin you get leather upholstery, parking sensors, climate control, sat nav and LED running lights. Options include bucket seats and styling packages. Five colours are offered and order books are open now.
