BMW launches limited edition M3 Coupe and Cabriolet

BMW has introduced two new Limited Edition versions of the outgoing M3 Coupe and Convertible models, priced at £55,690 and £59,785, respectively.

The Limited Edition 500 models are both powered by a 420PS V8 engine with 400NM of torque. 0-62mph takes 4.8 seconds for the coupe and 5.3 seconds for the heavier cabriolet, and both have a limited top speed of 155mph.

500 examples will be made in total, and each has a numbered inlay in the dash. Three colours are offered - Imola Red, Mineral White and Santorini Blue. Both models get £4000 worth of extra equipment, as well as leather interior trim, 19 inch alloy wheels and Shadowline exterior trim.

Fuel efficiency figures aren’t brilliant but you can’t expect much better from a V8. CO2 emissions are 290g/km for the Coupe and 297g/km for the Convertible, with respective economy figures of 22.8mpg and 22.2mpg on the combined cycle.

The M3 Limited Edition 500 Coupe and Cabriolet models are available this month.
