Subaru introduces new base model Legacy Tourer

Subaru has introduced a new base model Legacy Tourer, starting at £21,995. The ES Nav model comes with a full colour touch screen sat nav system as standard, and has Bluetooth, steering wheel mounted controls and DVD playback. 

Other standard fit features include automatic headlights and wipers, dual zone climate control, one touch folding rear seats and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat.

The ES Nav is powered by a 150PS boxer engine that produces 196Nm of torque, taking the six-speed manual Legacy Tourer from 0-60mph in 9.8 seconds.

Fuel economy isn’t particularly impressive, however, at 32.8mpg on the combined cycle. A CVT automatic is also available, blunting performance slightly but improving the average economy to 34.9mpg. The Legacy ES Nav is available now.
