MINI shows off Rolls-Royce trimmed model

MINI are to show a special edition ‘Inspired by Goodwood’ variant of the ever popular three-door hatchback. The new model features high quality materials and design, all put together under the guidance of Rolls-Royce designers.

The interior is trimmed in a variety of high quality materials, with colours normally exclusive to Rolls-Royce. The door cards, centre console, dashboard, carpet, roof lining and leather seats are trimmed in the Rolls-Royce colour Cornsilk. There are also wood inserts in another Rolls-Royce exclusive; Wallnut Burr. Buttons and other controls are finished in Piano Black.

The exterior is finished in Rolls-Royce diamond black, with lightweight alloy wheels. The engine is the same 1.6-litre turbocharger four cylinder as found in the Cooper S while standard equipment includes a Harman Kardon hi-fi, air conditioning, xenon headlights and park distance assist.

The MINI Inspired by Goodwood will be displayed from the 21-28 April at the Shanghai Auto Show.
