Prices and specs for revised Mitsubishi Outlander

Mitsubishi Motors has announced full details and prices and details for the 2011 Outlander, featuring significant changes, including the introduction of the all-new Mitsubishi-developed 2.2 Di-D engine on all manual transmission vehicles.

It's also the first time that there's been the option of a two-wheel drive version that offers lower CO2 (162 g/km).

The new 2.2 Di-D manual transmission Mitsubishi engine is combined with a 6 speed manual gear box, and available in 2 or 4 wheel drive options. Headline stats show that there's a 14% increase in power from 154bhp to175 bhp on the manual transmissions, 12 % reduction in CO2 on manual transmission variants, with the range now starting from road tax band G.

The 2011 Outlander is available with two engines. In addition to the 2.2 Di-D manual transmission Mitsubishi unit, there's a 2.2 Di-D SST auto PSA unit. The two-wheel drive variant will be available with GX3 M/T trim only.
