Top ten: Performance cars from the Geneva Motor Show
Motor shows are always prime turf to spot some incredible cars. All the supercar and sports car manufacturers bring their greatest new cars and show them off in all their glory. Here we pick out the ten most important performance cars from the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Golf GTI
It’s certainly not the fastest car on this list, but when it comes to attainable high performance machines the Golf is on most buyers’ lists. This time around it’s offered in two forms – standard cars have 220PS while Perfomance variants get 230PS, larger brakes and a limited-slip differential to tighten up cornering.
Prices are expected to start at about £27,500 for entry level manual versions, while the Performance edition with DSG gearbox will likely cost more than £30,000. Read more on the Golf GTI by clicking here.
