Toyota Prius
The fourth generation Prius on display in Frankfurt is bold, but it’s still a hatchback and it’s still extremely economical: 90mpg and 70g/km CO2 economical. Due on sale at the beginning of 2016, it’s lighter than before and its electric motor smaller, but that will power the car by itself at speeds up to 37mph this time, meaning more zero-emissions miles than ever. In theory, anyway.
