Frankfurt Motor Show 2015: Top 10 stars of the show
The Frankfurt Motor Show is almost here and over the next few days there will be dozens of new car launches, spanning everything from affordable city cars to futuristic supercars.
We’ve analysed the show listings to find the top 10 cars of the show. Will one of these affordable new cars make it onto your driveway in 2016?
Vauxhall Astra
The all-new Vauxhall Astra will get its international launch, with fresh styling and improved fuel economy. The car is slightly smaller than before, but intelligent interior packaging means it remains spacious, with more leg room than the outgoing car.
The most popular engine is expected to be the 1.6-litre CDTi, which Vauxhall calls the “whisper diesel.” This will be available in 110PS, 136PS and 160PS outputs, plus there will be a 145PS 1.4-litre turbo petrol and, in entry-level models, Vauxhall’s impressive 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol with 105PS.
