VW Passat 2005/2006 - rear central locking not working - joejo

Hi the back doors on my passat are not locking, the child lock works tho. It is not coming up on the diagnostics as a fault. I have had both locks replaced and still not working! can any one suggest anything? Do you know if they are on a different mechism than the front doors and boot?

Do they lock with the key ? If not is there 12v present when you activate the remote or use the key.If not then probably a broken wire or loose plug or the main unit is US, if yes then the the problem is in the doorlocks very unlikely.Aprocess of elimination with a meter.

I find it very odd that you are not getting any errors on the convenience system memory. Which fault code reader are you using?
