can anyone tell me if a g reg 2.0lt ghia sierra sapphire is rwd? or are they front wheel drive, i need to know so i can get itand use it in my locost kitcar

All 2 litre Sierras were rear wheel drive, the only exception was the 2.8 litre 4x4, which was obviously 4 wheel drive.

Not only the 2 litre. All engine specs were rwd.

A mate of mine built a kit car (Tiger, i think) using a g reg 2l sierra, and it was fine for the job.

As I recall there was a very small number of 4x4s with 2.0 engines, but they're rarer than hens' teeth in a fish farm.

Don't know about the Locost (but Richard Hall probably does!), but the Robin Hood 2B, all the injection gubbins from the 2.0i won't fit unde the bonnet. You might be better finding a carb one.
