Hi All
My girlfriend recently changed job and gave up her company car after 6 years, she was given an old (but reliable) Rover 25 by a family member to get to her new job, I believe it is a 2003 K reg model. It has done her proud for a couple of months now but with the weather turning I want to make sure it is in tip top condition for her daily commutes in the upcoming winter so can anyone tell me the essentials I will need to either do myself or get done in regards to a winter service please? I am a car novice and off work skint at the mo but will have a go at anything to make sure her car is safe for her.
One slight problem is the passenger side electric window will not shut all the way up, it leaves a gap of approx 0.5cm which I just cannot seem to rectify, is there a quick fix for this?
Also we are having a problem with main front indicator, I replaced the bulb in it the other day but the indicator casing was full of water, I empied it and changed the bulb and it worked for a while but now it doesnt and all the indicators just flash really fast when indicating left, any ideas?
If anyone can give us any other suggestions for looking after this car in future and over the upcoming winter that would be really great, Thanks very much in advance!
