Is it an early or late 2001? I recall that in October the 3 series range all had new engines and the front lights got a bit of a restyling.

You can do a price check on the What Car website if you have the full spec. Seems a shade pricey to me but it depends on whom you are buying it from too.

Rear springs tend to break and electrics can play up but there are plenty of places where these can be fixed without paying main dealer prices.

Rather obviously, check that the roof works and is in good condition!

It's a manual, early 2001 because it's on a Y plate. I've ot seen it yet, just photos (which can hide a multitude of sins!) but I've been told it was a summer car, so garaged half the year which seems plausible, I think that is why the price is higher than comparable aged cars. One owner from new with full BMW hisory, of course that might mean only a couple of stamps.

I currently use a decent indy for my Audi so servicing shouldn't be a problem, they specialise in the big 3 germans so should be fine for the servicing.
