I have a CR-V 2.2 i-DTEC EX March 2010. From new, creaking at all speeds and road surfaces was apparent which became worse as the weather became hotter. It was tolerated for 5 months but became unbearable so the car went back to the main dealer to remedy the problem. They reported stones in the underside of the car protection shields but that did not solve the problem. With the onset of winter, a cold one with lots of snow and ice, the creaking stopped. Since Feb/March 2011 it has started again and is now terrible. I have tried hosing down the underside of the car but that only marginally improves the constant creaking. Nobody who travels in the car can locate the noise. Some are convinced it is in the dash, others around the seats, others like me believe it comes from the underside of the vehicle. PLEASE HELP, we are going mad!
