I recently purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V i-VTEC from a main dealer, and the service history looked good, all the services at the right mileage, etc. Only the other day I noticed that between service 1 and 2 there was a gap of 24 months, but it was at the right mileage. Basically it had one service at 12,000 miles in 2008, and another at 24,000 miles in early 2010. It was also serviced by the dealer just before I bought it, so 3 services in total.

What I'm really wondering is would this bother you majorly, or would you not worry about it? I'm talking purely in mechanical terms, I've already sorted out an extended warranty. The car drives fine, and the engine seems very smooth, just like the new version that I test drove.

Should I be concerned about the health of the engine?
