Ford Mondeo 2.0 Ghia x 2001 - Mondeo Clutch needed - Goodfellauk

Clutch slipping to much to drive now so got it parked up on the drive :(

Just about to start making some call to local garages & ask the

question "How much to pick up & fit a new clutch" ?

So before I do... any ideas of a minimum & maximum price i can expect to pay ?

I would say min £500. Max £800..

If you need a DMF? fitted +++++£££

£370 inc vat

£750 if flywheel need replacing ! "ouch"

can we do any better than these prices ???

If it needs a flywheel then you can install a unit for 1.8 petrol good old simple flywheel and clutch and at a much cheaper price.

Try Partco - they sell the ordinary kit which does away with the expensive DMF system. Taxi firms swear by them!!! Much cheaper too!!
