06 1.1 Changing Brake Fluid - doctorchris
When I used to exchange a car's brake fluid using a workshop manual there was always a correct order in which to bleed each of the brakes.
I want to replace the brake fluid on a New Fiat Panda but don't have this information.
Is it still normal practice to follow a particular order and, if so, does anyone know what it is for the Panda?

i have always worked furthest away from the brake master cylinder with the idea that any air is sent out the longest path. i do not think it is diffrent for your car. main issue is not to let any air back in.....

If you use a Gunson brake bleed kit (about £15) it is a simple job just using air pressure from a tyre. It avoids pressing the brake pedal too far, which can wash the seals out of the master cylinder. Just connect up the kit, fill the bottle with fluid, and every nipple you open the old fluid and any air just flows out. So simple.
