Vauxhall Astra 1.4 cooling warning light - photoman
A warning light which looks like a radiator with a fan on it has come on.
The air con does not work.
The engine cooling fan does not cut in when I let the engine idle until the temp gauge goes into the red.

My local Vauxhall garage ran a diagnostic test, they said the aircon sensor or switch needed replacing.
They replaced it but the light stayed on.
They now say it could be a wiring fault or it could be a cooling control module faulty.

Does this sound correct?
Has anyone had this problem?
Can anyone help please?
