Hello again,
Some weeks ago you all suggested the best petrol engine to get in a Focus. I have not definitely decided yet, been rather too busy to look at cars etc.....
Anyway I recently hired a Modus and was quite impressed but it was the diesel model. I would prefer to have petrol. They do a 1.4 and 1.6, does anyone know which is the best engine to get?

The Note is a bit bigger than the Modus isn't it?
BTW does the Note have a Nissan or Renault diesel engine? The diesel Nissan engines seemed to have a fair few problems with turbos (I'm not going to get into the Renault side right now, too incendiary lol), have these been mostly sorted?

The 1.5 diesel engine is a joint design by the two companies. It seems to be fairly reliable so far although as with any modern CR diesel, if something does go wrong then it will be costly.
