Blown in-car radio led's or bulbs - Imagos
A friends Kenwood KDC-7080R in car CD/tuner has lost it's illumination on the front panel so there is no backlit or LED display.

Does anyone know a decent reputable repairer? or indeed is it worth repairing?

Would cost of sending it to the menders be cost effective?

It's a fairly decent model and worth keeping.

TIA.

KDC -7080R is a very good model, about 6 years old but still very high spec. Even plays when hitting tree & upside down ( dont ask )

Its lost all the display at once, Could be the electrical flexitrack has broken where the mask front is spinning back & forth all the time?

Hope friend has the blue anti theft MASK key to hand.

Its worth getting a repair quote on it, really good stereo.
