I bought a escort van 1995 that had petrol put in the tank
It has been drained off and new fuel filter put on and now i can't get the fuel to the injecteors what else can i do

Does it have a little black plunger (button) on top of the fuel filter housing?

The injector pump may be knackered but you need to remove the fuel pipe from the filter to the pump at the pump end while you operate the bulb on top of the filter.That will get fuel to the pump;then refit pipe and crank to see if fuel gets to the injectors.

The pump you mention only bleeds the low pressure side of the fuel system, It won't pump fuel up to the injectors.
When you've bled the fuel system using the primer pump, loosen off the injector pipes at the injector end and get an assistant to spin the engine over on the starter, as fuel leaks from the loose joints, and with the engine still turning, tighten them up.

i have done what you said and there is no fuel at the injectors but the injector pump was working fine till i changed the fuel filter
