Yes,not the easiest of jobs but nothing unusual.

The big issue is the front subframe which needs to be dropped, and then realigned accurately when refitted. Otherwise it's pretty standard.
Not a cheap job if you get it done professionally. I was quoted £500 by a Ford dealer recently. Mind you, my brother in law got hit for over a grand for a clutch and flywheel on his Passat TDI 130 a week later, so it puts things in context.
