audi concert 2 stereo - jonnyb
Hi

Can anyone offer any advice? I have a 2006 Audi A4 with a single cd concert 2 stereo installed. I would like to install an audi 6 cd changer in the glove box. However, I do not know if the concert 2 stereo supports cd changers? Also, how complicated is it to install the cd changer (if possible) and connect it to the back of the concert 2? I presume I would need to remove the concert 2 from the dash and somehow get to the back of the dash in through the glove box?

Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I had the same dilemma with my A4 Avant. There was no wiring loom connector in the boot as these are only apparently designed for the glovebox changer. So due to the cost of getting the changfer and the new glove box lining required to accomodate the changer, I went down a different route. Instead I installed an Alpine MP3 compatible head unit with the neccesary off the shelf wirining adapter. I found this a better solution than the autochanger as you can fit up to 18 MP3 concerted CD's on one MP3 CD and it works better anyway than the changer, in terms of the speed of album changes etc.
This was a much cheaper option than retro-fitting the glovebox mounted changer.
