Help, I'm skidding on ice! I'll get out. - Enoughalready
Interesting to see how drivers react when skidding towards an accident. Most freeze but some actually get out!

Obviously the best thing to do would be to release the brakes giving more chance to steer out. I feel smug knowing I would have done that because I did on two occasions but I was still lucky that the space I steered towards didn't have another vehicle there.

Very funny. One wonders why people want to get out when they are sliding at 10 mph towards another car. One such person very nearly got collected by the car behind too. That wouldn't have been nearly so funny.
