Mt wife's car has developed an annoying noise at the rear (the car's not her's). It sounds like it's coming from the suspension.
I've read somewhere on here that this is common and I need to spray WD 40 somewhere.
Would someone kindly tell me where please.
Thanks

Presuming its the post 99 new model you need to quirt WD40 around the two bushes that attach the rear suspension arms to the floor pan. The bushes almost seem too big and the rubber bush rubs against the body mounting points and squeaks.

Thanks BJ
It's a 2004 model and still in warranty.
I've read on the net that the handbrake cable rattles if it is not adjusted properly and wonder if it could be that now.

I'd use nylon/rubber lubricant (yellow spray tin in halfords) rather than wd40 which I suspect could damage rubber bushes over time.

Is that the yellow silicone spray tin?

I think it's named Nylon/Rubber lubricant on the tin. It may be a silicone spray, but not in big print. Silicone should be ok for rubber bushes, it's oil based stuff that rots it.
