Golf Mk 3 Front Seat Covers - Stainless
I have a damaged front seat cover, (only the lower part, squab is it?) the back is O.K. and I have the opportunity to obtain the same colour from a breakers yard. Does anyone know how they are fitted? and is removing and fitting within the possibility of a reasonable D.I.Y man?

IIRC they are attatched underneath with little tabs that attatch to cut outs in the seat frame. I should think anyone who is a DIY type (if you know what I mean) would be able to sort it out.

Using the foam from the passenger seat would be a good idea as there'd be less wear on the bolster. You can use the complete foam / cover from the passenger side if you don't have the tray on the seat base. What model is the Golf, CL?
