Hi guys....

I drive a 1996 Seat Ibiza Diesel (1896cc/ Non-turbo):

This car starts perfectly fine when cold, after just one or two turns of the starter motor. However, when I've driven the car for a good distance and the engine is hot it becomes very difficult should I then turn it off.

It will always start first time, but it'll often turn over on the starter motor for a good 10-15 seconds before kicking into life. This would be more understandable if it did it when the car was cold,but I'm clueless as it does it when it's thoroughly warmed up.

Any ideas?
