Has anyone heard about the Citoen C15 not being sold in Britain anymore because it has vanashed from the van range on citroens web site?
|
they havent been made for yonks but if you shop around im sure some dealer will have one
did you want one?
why?
|
|
They were based on the 20--year-old Citroen Visa, so their time was up, Citroen now do a van whose name I forget but is the same as the Peugeot Partner.
If you want one of these at the same time as a Renault Safrane you are suffering from acute Francophilia.

thats polite...............

That would be a Citroen Berlingo, I guess.

According to the font of all knowledge about trivia, production ended December 2005, it was made in Spain by the way.

|
>>they havent been made for yonks>>
Well not quite.. production ceased in December 2005 after being made for.. well yonks!
In an unfortunate incident several years ago I was forced against my will to drive one of these behemoths up to Sheffield from Essex. I can confirm that they really are a dreadful vehicle.

Id try a Daihatsu Extol mate, I looked at the Citroen and I can confirm how awful they are.
I bought a Suzuki Carry in the end, but apprently tehy dont make them anymore either, so the cheap van amrket is all Daihatsu's now. On the plus side, you can get air con on the Extol.

if 9 months isnt a yonk does anyone know the official time length of a yonk?
been on a long return journey in the back of a visa van (c15) and can confirm
(a) they are uncomfortable
(b) dammed cold
(c) they win the award for most dangerous pieces of metal sticking out to scalp/decapitate etc the human frame.

The word was used with a slightly sarcastic tone....
|
|
Behemoth is actually mythical.
The Citroen wasnt that either

Were you fussy what colour you wanted it in?
Red or white maybe ?
|
Next Citroen size above the C15 is called the Jumper, next above that is the Jumpy.
You don't really want a Citroen, do you?
|
Jumpy = Dispatch = Peugeot Expert = Fiat Scudo
Jumper = Relay = Peugeot Boxer = Fiat Ducato
|
If you can't get a Citroen Berlingo/Peugot Partner, there's always the Fiat Doblo or Renault Kangoo to consider. Both came in van or mini-MPV form, too, depending on what you're looking for.
Bit of a change from a Renault Safrane...but much more load space if you're into outdoors hobbies or expect to move house a lot!

van rouge or van blanc...
|
"van rouge or van blanc..."
Made me laugh.
Nearly choked on some red stuff
