Interesting stuff this - Dagenham Motors in Byfleet,Surrey have quoted me a whopping £175.00 incl for my Fiesta's first service. Its a July 2005 5 door petrol zetec climate.
Unbelieveably expensive for what is really just an oil change and a quick look underneath......

Don't let a dealer service it whatever you do!

1800 is nothing..i bought a LS400 which turned out to be a lemon..but first service was quoted as £5,700...yeah I still have the A3 sheet of paper the dealer put the service quote on!!!

>>Nissan X-Trail First Annual Service 12000 miles = £175.00 in Sunderland area<<
That is interesting because as a comparison my bro in law reckons his 1st service for Freelander TD4 is £400.
Do any Freelander owners think this is correct ?
Oh yes - I'll answer the question as well - Accord Type S 2.4 petrol - £166 for first 12,500 mile service.

can't remember exactly, it turned out to be mostly covered under used car warranty, final bill was 1300. a grand for pads and discs all round, 300 for the minor service.
things like , power steering pump, speed sensors, ecg pipe, other sensors, god knows, the list was so long, the service manager took 45 minutes to explain everything...whilst I fainted on the floor ;-)

One thing to bear in mind is that different franchise holders will quote wildly differing prices even in the same area. A Ford garage about three miles away charges 50% more than my local one. Always worth ringing around to compare.
