mondeo immobiliser - wazza

i am not asking for any illegal advice etc

friend has a '96 mondeo which has not been used for quite a while. he has been ill for 6 months. can't seem to get his car started now. he has been told it may be the immobiliser. unfortunately he does not have the red master key. the only option he has is to visit ford dealers who will charge him an arm and a leg to sort it out.

is there a way he can get it done himself?

Any auto locksmith with the correct software will be able to cut a new master key & code all the keys to the car far cheaper then Ford will, Have a look in the Yellow Pages.

This car needs a RED master key & 2 slave keys to be coded to work correctly.
