Life of Grime last night - traffic warden (motoring link) was given a fixed penalty ticket on camera for dropping litter (cigarette end) and didn't like it!

Did anyone else cheer when the muppet in the MR2 got fined for having his fog lights on?

Posted too quickly- meant to add on Traffic Cops (after life of grime).

What about the Cop telling the loony who did 70 in residential streets - 'As you have a clean licence you will be VERY unlucky to get a ban' Done for driving without due care - 6 month ban! I'd have taken the car off him and had it crushed, especially when he told the police that they could have caused an accident by chasing him!

What?! Refer to my rant, or thread as I like to call it, in "Rant about inconsiderate drivers".

Who does this bloke think he is? This is exactly what I mean, we have in this ridiculous pantomime country of ours, raised a whole generation of people who "know their rights". With rights come responsibilities. Driving at 70 in residential areas is insane. Car taken off him, licence removed for 10 years at least, a couple of grand to insure a 106/Corsa/insert chavmobile of your choice and he would NOT do it again. Have we completely lost touch with any sort of reality? If some retarded prat said to me that I could have caused an accident by chasing him when he was doing that sort of speed, he would have been lucky to still be on the streets. Guess that's why I'm not a copper, I haven't had the spine removal operation as yet.

As the late, great Bill Hicks said "I'm sick of hearing about people getting in touch with their inner child. How about getting in touch with their outer adult?".

Thing is he most certainly would - uninsured, no docs. His type wouldn't worry about a ban.

Yes, good point..... hadn't thought of that.

String 'im up instead!! : )

Yes, but he seemed a reasonably decent bloke, nice motor (55 reg Mondeo ?) didn't swear etc....so what went wrong
Poetic Justice - Altea Ego
Should never have been a due care, I bet it was upped to a dangerous later, which is why he got banned.
