where's the oil filter on a Mondeo tddi? - telecaster
Changed the oil in my Mondeo tddi yesterday.

Went looking for the filter and drew a blank!

Is it in that plastic canister thingamajig in front of the sump?

If so what sort of tool do i need to undo it?

The "plastic canister thingamajig" looks right. If it's like my MB, you can get the lid (or base, in some cases) off without a special tool, but it's much easier with one, and it cost only £8 from an MB dealer, so it may be worth checking with your local Ford dealer.

Yes it is the plastic canister in front of the sump, you need a 36mm socket IIRC. Saw one on Ebay a couple of weeks ago about £7.
