Does anyone know how the heated front windows work in the Ford Fiestas. I noticed last week that it has the tiny wires in the front windowscreen but I don't know how to turn them on to clear frost etc.
Will it be on the same button as the rear window heater?!?!

It's the switch beside the rear window heater switch. Left hand one is front screen, right hand one is rear.. at least on mine it is..

There should be a separate button which looks very similar to the rear demist symbol but with a sign similar to windscreen wiper symbol but with the heated element wiggly line running through it. Hope that makes sense. Didn't know they did them on the Fiesta, you lucky so and so.

if you get a chip on the screen get it sorted as my wife has a quick clear in her 01 fiesta and its superb the reason to getting it fixed soonest?my local windscreen man quoted me £200 for a new screen, trade fitted,so it wants looking after and make sure you get windscreen cover on your insurance

On the Fiesta's it will have the same symbol on the button as the "demist" setting on the heater direction dial, if that makes sense. i.e. wriggly lines coming up a screen which is donut-quadrant shaped.

Bear in mind that your car might not be fitted with the switch and wiring, if it is there you should know about it as it is right next to the rear screen demist.
The car may have had a replacement screen at some piont in the past where the wrong screen has been fitted. Stranger things have happened.
