was wonderiong if any one can help i want to change the cranksensor on my pug 306 r reg petrol but does any one know were i is in the engine comparment

It fits onto the joint between the engine and gearbox facing you on a plastic (?) bracketf Find the exhaust pipe and move towards the passenger side wing.
Presumably this is part of your non start thread? Immobiliser wont stop it cranking. I have lost count of the number of key readers on the ign switch I have changed, they are only about £15 and easy to fit.
Assume you dont have the naff keypad on yours? Other culprit could be coolant temp sensor telling the ECU the engine is hot when its cold.

thanks for your reply ive heard a bit more about the problem now mrs said last weekend it was turning over and nearly fired up then left for five minutes then went but now will not startat all

I'm still favouring key reader, Can beloved remember if, last week, when it started after 5 mins did it just start like theres nothing wrong or did it start with difficulty, run rough then settle down?
