It could well have happened on the way home last night but with it being dark, I never saw it. I've just been out in the car and noticed that all the plastic (handles, sills etc) and glass has weird speckles on. It looked at first as if it had just started raining but the speckles are like glue - quite sticky. It's over the back window too and only after having the screenwash on the front one for about 10 seconds did they fully shift.
Anyone have any ideas at all what they could be?

I suspect you parked under a tree and it's sap. Will easily wash off, will be a good way to work off the excesses of eating all those puddings :-)

I'd never even thought of that X. I was thinking I'd driven through something on the way home but the carpark did have trees in so that would explain it.
I thought it could have been sabotage from a select few last night.
Unless of course they staged the whole thing so that the only space was the one under the tree ;-)

Yep, tree sap.
The Fabia was covered in it too. Luckily I've got a layer of protective filth all over the car to minimise the impact ;-)

Yep Adam, you parked under some big trees. My parents have trees over their driveway and the cars are awfully difficult to clean if they have been parked up a for a week or so having been on holiday.

Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive?

Hmm - I never saw Lee's post before.
Clearly I was very unobservant. Maybe it was just the disappointment at having my car overshadowed by very nice Mercs, Porshes, Subarus, Skodas and Peugeots.......
...and trees.

It is actually tree sap passed through the digestive tract of aphids

Aphid poo?

Either pooh or vomit, given the car it landed on...

Thank your lucky stars then it wasn't a kebab passed through the digestive tract of a lager lout!
