Happy Christmas from me too. - David W
Guys,

Have a great Christmas all.

It's been an interesting year. Thanks for your company, humour and advice.

At the start of 2001 I didn't expect to...

*Have top advice on Land Rover piston skirt rings from John S.
*Receive excellent stress counselling from Darcy.
*Get the best Rover 400 buying advice ever from David L.
*Smile at "Victor Meldrew" type retirement grumpiness from Tomo.
*Laugh time and again at Guy L and his "anall day bender". Just one slip of the space bar to create a legend.
*Learn again and again from Adam and Andrew, the Tune-Up boys.
*Nearly broker the purchase of a very rare Vincent Black Shadow motorcycle at a fraction of its value from Chris W who was virtually selling one.
*Feel even more disappointed when realising this was the only Black Shadow made with the gyro perpetual motion engine.
*Find comradeship in those willing to stand up and admit "I own a Citroen Xantia and I like it".
*Take pleasure in seeing "Micky Huh Huh" post so much anti-Xantia stuff that they devalued enough that we now can look at buying a second. Thanks Micky, I wonder where/who you are now?
*Come to know the name Bogush as a (the!) great cut and paste warrior.
*Display a bumper sticker saying "I've met Mark from Brazil".

I could go on and on but present wrapping for the girls calls.

Thanks to HJ and Martyn for providing the vehicle for this journey.

I could just look in tomorrow to see if Santa has posted anything. Might seem a bit sad logging-on during Christmas day. But which will SWMBO prefer, that or just having to pressure wash the Land Rover back body in my new slippers after lunch!

Not been on the site for a day or five so Season's Greetings from me also.

I too never thought I would be so interested in the ups and downs of cars I had never driven, encounters with drivers I never hope to meet, and BackRoomers that I hope to meet one day.
