Honest Johns Motoring Yearbook - roders
stuff the debate on how cheap petrol is at the moment. I saw a shelf full of Honest Johns Motoring Yearbook's (1999-2000 edition) in a bookshop on the high street for £0.50. beat that if you can!
Re: Honest Johns Motoring Yearbook - Peter M.
You were lucky,-they're still £6.99 in the secondhand bookshops in Hay-on-Wye!

Peter,

They overvalue all books that way don't they, second hand book book mecca over theat way.

Actually HJ was giving away (I'm sure) the last copies of that book here a while ago to clear the decks for the new issue.

Re: Honest Johns Motoring Yearbook - Honest John
Correction required here. The Honest John Annual Publication is like the Rupert Annual. It's different every year. But the 2001-2002 Honest John's Motoring Yearbook is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the 1999-2000 or 2000-2001 Daily Telegraph Book of Motoring Answers. Instead of being a compilation of answers to readers questions it's a proper directory and includes the Car by Car Breakdown as it stood in August. I'm not surprised the 1999-2000 book is cheap. It's at least two years out of date.

Does this mean that each answer is a followed by a picture and a short descriptive rhyme featuring Algy Pug and Bill Badger?
