coolant - richard price

my german sports car may have a slight coolant leak, trouble is the engine is hidden so I cant eyeball - is it possible for a garage to pressure test the system? - many thanks.

Richard,

Yes most garages should have a tester that will apply pressure from the coolant filler.

From this it is often possible to see the leak or even hear it.

There are loads of things that can lose coolant without being obvious but a small weep now and again from the water pump can be hard to see.
