Astra road noise

Astra road noise - David Horn
Hi,

I've got a 10 year old Vauxhall Astra Auto 1.6 and it seems the road noise has increased gradually over the past few months. My parents say I'm paranoid, but it's driving me insane.

Tyre pressures are fine - it just seems to be the noise of rubber on tarmac that's driving me mad. Is this a common problem with my line of Astras, or is it something else that I can have fixed?

Or should I just turn the radio up?! ;)
