Hi

I took the car for an mot today it passed but i dont know its emission levels if they did the emmisions test

how do i find out the results

Ask the Tester.

These days the testers usually give you a print out from the emmisions test rig that tells you all you need to know.

i will have to visit to get my service book stamped up but they must have been ok as it passed

having the car serviced really makes the car feel like new,

A copy of the emission test results has to be retained by the VTS for a specified time.

Go and ask for a copy....

Next time you go, ask them for a copy before they fill in the paperwork - or remember to ask for a photocopy before you leave.

Hi,

When an emissions test is conducted, a yellow and white copy are printed. The yellow one is retained by the tester, the white one is a specific customer copy and it is your right to have it.

Please note that only cars equipped with catalytic converters are emissions tested (has its advantages and disadvantages!).
